The dashing and self-confessed serial kisser of our desi tinsel
town - Emraan Hashmi will be at his candid best as he chats up with
host Tarana Raja Kapoor on Let's Talk, only on Zoom Television,
India's premier lifestyle and entertainment news channel on July
11th 2007, Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Inspite
of the huge fan following, Emraan believes he is a very vain actor
and rewards his success to the serial kisser image that he has created
with a tag of being called a die-hard romantic hero. Emraan will
enlighten everyone with hilarious anecdotes about his fans showering
their love and affection. He will talk about one such unique incident
when he was shooting for 'Ashiq Banaya Aapne' when a lady fan gifted
him a beautiful box. Upon opening it he discovered a sexy set of
lingerie that was perfumed and the box contained a note with a number,
though he refused to divulge the events that followed thereafter.
 The
heart to heart conversation with Emraan and Tarana will get even
more exciting when he talks about his films. He talks about how
co-actor Amisha Patel had a reservation about working with him in
the film 'Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar' because she felt that he was totally
expressionless and stiff. She even made it a point to complain to
veteran Mahesh Bhatt who warned Emraan that he was not an actor
material and to be an actor he would have to pull up his socks together
and work very hard towards it. Emraan believes that to be a super
star, one does not need to be in the Yashraj or Karan Johar camp.
He says, "I'm a living example of this. I've created a niche
for myself that no other actor can usurp but at the same time, I'm
aware that I'm trapped with the serial kisser image that now I'm
struggling to break free from." Emraan will go on to chat with
host Tarana about his latest film 'Awaarpan' where he has made an
attempt to break the mould.
The
tête-à-tête on the chat show Let's Talk with
Emraan Hashmi talks fondly about how inspite of his on-screen serial
kisser and romantic hero image, he has only one heroine in the real
world - his longtime girlfriend now beautiful wife Parveen. He blushes
at her mention and talks about being a very devoted husband to this
special woman in his life whom he absolutely adores.
Let's
Talk with Emraan is filled with mischief as he divulges in details
on his lover boy image as he had his first crush only when he was
a little six year old. He drove his parent's mad insisting that
they do not waste time and get him married to his sweetheart. He
goes on to inform that he has been a brand ambassador of being a
serial kisser since his early days with his first kiss at the age
of fourteen. Today, he proudly rates himself 11/10 as a kisser.
On his own admission, he claims to be very naughty as a kid and
even today the co-stars are scared of all the pranks that he has
hidden up his sleeve.
