MUMBAI:
Delhi’s hottest radio station Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM gets hotter.
Starting 5 December, the radio station will sport a contemporary
new avatar starting with a brand new station jingle.
Combining
elements of hip-hop, special sound effects including an unmistakable
whistle, the new station identity has been specially composed by
the music director duo Vishal- Shekhar – whose modern sound
has been the craze from Hum Tum to Salaam Namaste
to Om Shanti Om.

Shenoy, Cluster Head, Radio Mirchi, said “We are absolutely
excited with the new jingle which is just the first step in a series
of steps which will make Radio Mirchi even hotter than before. It
was a great privilege for us to work with Vishal and Shekhar on
the new jingle and we are going to increase the music quotient on
our station even more.”
He
added that the next few weeks will be action packed with listeners
in for many pleasant surprises and an even better listening experience.
“We did extensive research in the last few months and it was
from this that the new jingle and the other new elements were conceptualized”
he concluded.
