SONY SAYS IT EXPECTS BUOYANT RESULTS

Sony Entertainment Television CEO Kunal Dasgupta
expects the channel to end the financial year 1998-99 with
revenues of about Rs 2,200 million as against its projection
of Rs 2,000 million. He says he is confident of reaching this
target as Sony has already notched up revenues of Rs 1,920
million in the calendar year 1998 as against a projected R
1,800 million.
