CHANNEL V INDIA: NEW DIRECTION ANNOUNCEMENTS LIKELY

Channel V India is likely to announce an Indian replacement for general manager Jules Fuller this coming week. The inside buzz is that consultant Mahesh Murthy is being given the job. Murthy had worked along with creative wizard Shashank Ghosh on coming up with a revamp report for Channel V that has been increasingly losing audiences to MTV India. The report has since been handed over to Channel V Asia boss Steve Smith. Smith is slated to jet into India this week to give his views on the revival report.
