MUMBAI: C2E Technology Labs has launched In - Tunnel advertising in India. The technology has been brought to life in association with DMRC and submedia.

In-Tunnel advertising will monetize the tunnels providing space for outdoor advertising. Kotak Life Insurance is among the first ones to advertise through this medium.

C2E further expects to extend this approach through monetization of assets such as tunnels, escalators, travelators etc by using them as a medium to display animated messages.

C2E Technology Labs CEO A. Rabindranath said, " We have always looked at monetizing the assets which are considered worthless - dead by the organizations for themselves. With In-Tunnel, advertising will no longer be the same as people will now look for more creative twist in every advertisement."

Rahul Sinha who is the head of marketing in Kotak Life Insurance will be the first advertiser on this medium.

"We are very excited at the prospect of being the first and I am sure we will be able to reach out to a lot of our audience through this medium. There is no clutter and the impact created is impressive. All these put together makes advertising on this medium very exciting for us, and thus we chose to be the first ones to advertise on this medium," said Sinha.
