Radio Mirchi rejigs its marketing team

MUMBAI: Entertainment Network India Ltd's (Enil) Radio Mirchi has rejigged its marketing team with some new promotions.

Enil national marketing head Kaushik Ghosh is appointed as national head of business development and corporate strategy. In his business development role, he will work with a team to generate business out of key advertisers that still do not use radio in a big way.

He will also focus on developing new business initiatives and charting out a growth trajectory for Enil.

Kavita Bagga has been appointed as the national marketing head of Radio Mirchi. She comes in from 360 Degrees, where she was heading the fashion and lifestyle business. She will now be responsible for key marketing decisions at Radio Mirchi.

Riya Mukherjee is elevated to the post of national head CSR and brand integration of Radio Mirchi. Prior to her new post, she was working as national content head of Radio Mirchi.

In her new responsibility, Mukherjee will seek and evaluate the causes that Mirchi would adopt and support, while ensuring that they are in sync with the brand identity and positioning as a responsible media entity.

Her new portfolio would include areas of Bollywood and TV content, corporate communication and events. She will flesh out specific ideas that allow Radio Mirchi to carry forward current and future brand initiatives - hand in hand with the brand marketing and programming.
