M&C Saatchi appoints Rajiv Sabnis and Anjali Nayar to top-tier positions

MUMBAI: M&C Saatchi India, the Indian arm of the UK-based global advertising agency M&C Saatchi Worldwide, has appointed Rajiv Sabnis as executive director, Mumbai and Anjali Nayar as director - client services, Delhi.

Former COO of Ambience Publicis, Sabnis comes with 20 years of experience in advertising. His's mandate will be to partner Jet Airways in its ambitions and further strengthen M&C Saatchi's business in the western region.

With over 19 years of experience in the direct marketing business, Nayar has previously worked with Lintas, Bates, 141 Worldwide and RMG Connect. At M&C Saatchi, she will be responsible to identify new business opportunities and further expand M&C Saatchi's Delhi operations.

Commenting on the appointments, M&C Saatchi CEO Kamal Oberoi said, "Rajiv Sabnis and Anjali Nayar both are highly regarded professionals and will enrich our teams further with their experienced leadership. Their distinguished track records and understanding of clients across sectors will benefit our existing clients and help in attracting new businesses and talent greatly."

Rajiv Sabnis said, "M&C Saatchi has already carved a niche for itself in the industry and has some prestigious clients. I would like to leverage its assets and take the agency to higher level."

Anjali Nayar added, "I've been in direct marketing for most part of my professional career and would now like to apply my knowledge in mainstream advertising. M&C Saatchi is just the right platform to do the same."
