MUMBAI: Grey Group's national creative director Priti Nair has won Indy's 'Creative Professional of the Year' award. Nair has worked on a number of trend-setting and innovative ad campaigns like those of Surf Excel, Green Ply, Clinic All Clear, Axe, etc, informs the company. She recently created the Ambuja ad forming a new space in cement advertising.

According to Grey Group president (South-East Asia) Nirvik Singh, "Priti is an immensely talented and dedicated creative professional. We are extremely proud of her achievements, and this is just the beginning as there will be many more to follow in 2008."

Nair says, "You know whatever it is that you go through and do, an award always touches you like nothing else. And then you get one with this title well….! And in this world, someone has actually decided to award professionals in our fraternity is truly great really."

The Indy awards recognise excellence in mass communications, including fields like advertising, media planning and buying, and public relations. Initiated in 2007 by Jonathan Peters and Rayka Rogers, the awards are meant to bridge the gap between the Emvies and the Abbys.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Grey India has offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Calcutta, Chennai, and Ahmedabad. The company's client portfolio includes big corporates like Deutshe Bank, Vimal, UTV, Bharti AXA, Suzuki Motorcycles, Suzlon, Audi, P&G, Parle Products and BSNL, among others.
