Star Gold promotes 'Idea Sabsey Favourite Kaun'

MUMBAI: Star Gold is all geared up to air its flagship property Idea Sabsey Favourite Kaun on 6 January at 8 pm.

The mega event which recognises favourite actors across various categories by means of public votes, is being promoted heavily by the channel.

Hoardings promoting the tune in date and time have been put up across over 35 sites in Mumbai and Delhi. Signages promoting the tune in date and time of the grand finale have been put across all key multiplexes in Mumbai.

In an attempt to reach out to people in smaller cities, the channel has bought radio spots on Radio City, Red FM, Big FM and My FM in key markets like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat.

SMS to remind people to watch the Grand Finale will be sent to all key clients, agencies and distributors on 6 January.

On the new media front, the micro site is being updated with grand finale tune ins and winner details.

Apart from hosting the promos on Youtube, online promotion of the tune in time has also been scheduled across Yahoo and Rediff.

Online community like Orkut is also being utilised to promote the property by creating different communities within it.

Star Gold had also planned an array of promotional activities to attract votes for the flagship event.

A month long activity with 30 city road trip across Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, Rajasthan and UP was done during the voting phase.

Retail activation was done across 100 Subhiksha anf 285 Idea outlets across the country promoting the voting mechanism and the property.
