Dhoni signed on as FritoLay's brand ambassador; to take part in mega promo

MUMBAI: PepsiCo India Holdings (FritoLay division) has roped in MS Dhoni, popular youth icon and captain of the Indian ODI team, as FritoLay India's new brand ambassador, according to an official announcement.

Dhoni will join the line of long-standing FritoLay ambassadors - Saif Ali Khan and Juhi Chawla - to launch a mega FritoLay promotion called "Chala Change Ka Chakkar" in February 2008, adds the release.

Commenting on the partnership, Dhoni said, "It is a privilege to be associated with snack leader FritoLay India. I am particularly excited to partner Saif and Juhi in introducing FritoLay's mega consumer promotion 'Chala Change Ka Chakkar.' I think consumers are going to love the uniqueness of the prizes."

"We are proud to welcome MS Dhoni into the Fritolay family. His pan-Indian appeal, confident can-do attitude and responsible yet fun image make him one of India's most loved youth icons," said PepsiCo India Holdings (FritoLay division) director of marketing Deepika Warrier.
