NEW DELHI: Vivek Sengupta has put in his papers as president of JWT's PR division IPAN. He is almost certain to be replaced by the agency's current VP Radhika Shapoorjee.

Confirming his resignation, Sengupta said: "I believe I have had a successful three-year stint as president, and am leaving IPAN to chase another dream."

He said that he has yet to take a call on the options he has and would talk about it when the decision is made. "I am going to do something quite different," added Sengupta.

Sengupta, who has close to 30 years of experience in the communications business, has worked over all for 14 years at IPAN, the last three years as president, but had worked in between for a year as SVP of corporate affairs with Star India.

Shapoorjee, who left Genesis and joined as VP at IPAN about a year ago, is going to head the agency as president after Sengupta. However, it is yet to be known exactly when she will take over.
