BANGALORE: Delhi-based Ozone Ayurvedics (OA) launched its 'Zap n Clear' No Marks crème in Bangalore today. Further, the company announced that this over the counter (OTC) product will also be available in about 20 per cent of 150,000 retail counters across the country starting today.

"Our 'Zap n Clear' media campaign will start on 1 May and our team is working on the media plans", revealed Ozone Group Chairman and Managing Director S C Sehgal while speaking with www.indiantelevision.com. "We are planning spends of around Rs 200 million for promoting all the brands under OA. This includes Rs 70 million for the 'Zap n Clear' campaign this year."

The crème's pan India rollout is expected to be complete soon. Earlier, OA had announced its entry into the anti-acne skincare segment with this crème about five weeks ago in Kolkata.

The advertising campaign for 'Zap n Clear' is built around the thought 'Knock Out Guaranteed' and is meant to represent the fight of women against pimples and the lead to the victory of 'Zap n Clear' over acne and post acne marks. The campaign's target audience is young people afflicted with acne.

The campaign will be a multimedia one encompassing print (newspapers and magazines), television, and radio. The company plans to advertise on regional television channels too. Below the line activities have also been planned.

Jenifer Kotwal is the brand ambassador for 'Zap n Clear'. The creative agency for OA is Mudra Communications and the media buying agency is O & M, New Delhi.

OA claims that 'Zap n Clear' is the only anti-acne formulation available in India in a twin-pack tube which treats and cures pimples as well as works on post pimple marks. Sehgal estimates put the annual market size of the anti-acne skincare segment in India as about 600 million.

OA is targeting revenues of about Rs 400 million from this segment. Overall, Sehgal expects annual revenues of Rs 1 billion for OA this fiscal.
