GOA: Amidst much glitz and glory, the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) gave away the media awards tonight here on the sandy shores of Goa. And quite unexpectedly, Mindshare ruled the evening, bagging as it did 8 awards in different categories.

The awards had 13 categories with 10 media categories and 3 specialist categories. Madison Communications' chairman and MD Sam Balsara and Lodestar Universal CEO Shashi Sinha presented the awards.

The three specialist categories for youth marketing, vertical marketing and pro bono marketing were judged on their appropriateness to the target audience regardless of the medium used.

In each category, the jury awarded a gold, silver and bronze media award to entries judged to deserve this honour.
