Chatterjee comes
to CNNI with an extensive advertising sales experience and a cross-functional
strategic perspective that will augment the network's future growth in India,
the channel authorities are convinced. "With
the rising globalisation of Indians, who now seek more international news coupled
with the strong emergence of Indian companies on the global stage, CNN has been
a channel of choice for advertisers in this market. "The
current line up of CNN clients range from Consulting, Information Technology,
Infrastructure, Banking, Tourism, Industrial goods, Power, Retail to Automobiles
sectors," a company statement says.
Prior
to her appointment at CNN, Chatterjee was head of sponsorship
and client solutions for India at BBC World, and spent nearly
a decade there.
