Bindass joins IIT Delhi to build pre-launch hype

MUMBAI: Just days before the launch of UTV and Astro's Hindi youth GEC Bindass, the channel has tied up with IIT Delhi as the title sponsor of its college festival, Rendezvous.

The fest, titled Bindass Rendezvous, will kick of on 20 September and culminate on 23 September, a day before Bindass officially hits the airwaves.

Fostering a link with the target group, brand Bindass will figure prominently in the scheme of things during the three day fest. Episodes of Sun Yaar Chill Mar , a comedy show on the life of five college friends and one of the driver shows of Bindass, will be shot during the festival.

Also, Bindass Rendezvous will feature performances by Ugesh, India's first street magician and the host of 3rd Degree, a show with live acts and stunts. Further, there will be Mr. and Ms. Bindass rounds where two people who best exemplify the brand would be selected in events including, fashion show, Kaleidoscope, an amalgamation of design, choreography and dance and Spectrum, the dance competition.

In August, Bindass had sponsored St. Xaviers Mumbai inter college festival Malhar. It had also conducted two high impact consumer programs in the key markets of Delhi and Mumbai.
