Publicis India rejigs senior management

MUMBAI: Publicis India, Mumbai has made changes to its senior management structure by elevating executive vice president Ambba Kuthiala to GM and regional business director for Publicis Singapore.

Additonally, VP Dipika Narayan has been elevated to SVP to head Publicis India's Mumbai operations.

Publicis in India MD and CEO Nakul Chopra said, "Both Ambba and Dipika are valued members of the Publicis team. These promotions reflect our faith in their ability to partner us in taking Publicis to the next level."

Publicis India president and COO Hemant Misra said, "Ambba's move and Dipika's elevation are a demonstration of how Publicis values its people. Charting people's careers to ensure employee satisfaction and organizational excellence is not merely corporate talk but a best practice at Publicis."

Kuthiala has been in advertising for 20 years that includes stints at DY&R, Ambience Advertising to a brand consultancy firm called Momentum. Kuthiala has worked with brands including Colgate, Unilever, Marico, Fidelity, L'Oreal to starting a Healthcare division in her office handling Sanofi-Aventis.

Narayan started her advertising career with Sista's (today's Saatchi & Saatchi) at Bangalore way back in 1990; where she handled Brooke Bond (filter coffee) and then went on to start a branch in Ahmedabad. Later, with TBWA in Mumbai- through both Speer & Anthem, she worked on accounts such as Nivea, Airbus Industrie, Syngenta, Parle Beverages, Samsonite, Indian Oil Corporation and BPL Mobile. At Publics, Narayan was heading the Garnier business for nearly four years.
