MUMBAI: Entertainment Network (India) Ltd (ENIL) has joined hands with Purvy Broadcasts Pvt Ltd (PBPL) to provide ad sales and support for the FM station in Guwahati.

PBPL will be launching an FM station under the brand name Radio Gupshup in October.

ENIL which owns and runs Radio Mirchi, will provide national advertisers to Radio Ghupshup. However, the agreement excludes local ad sales for Radio Ghupshup, which will be handled independently by PBPL.

Radio Mirchi COO says, "It is a win-win situation for both the brands. PBPL gets national advertisers through a single window sales team and Radio Mirchi gets to expand our reach to the north-east."

Radio Mirchi has a similar deal with Shri Puran Multimedia Ltd (SPML) for managing national advertisers in UP, Haryana and Jharkhand and Gwalior Farms in Gwalior. SPML runs Radio Mantra while Gwalior Farms runs Radio Chaska.
