Ogilvy's IAPA Adoption campaign wins at Ad Spot Awards

MUMBAI: Ogilvy India has won two honours at the Ad Spot Awards 2007, which took place recently at Florence, Italy.

The IAPA Adoption campaign, created by Ogilvy India, bagged the Grand Prix in the Press & Outdoor category on the occasion of the 17th edition of Ad Spot Non-Profit awards.

The campaign also won the special prize in the review dedicated to Indian Social Communication. The IAPA Adoption campaign, which won both the honours at the Ad Spot awards, has won several laurels at most of the international award ceremonies this year, states an official release.

Apart from winning a Gold and a Silver at the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, the campaign also won a Gold, 2 Silvers and a Bronze at the Media Spikes this year.

The campaign, comprising three ads, also won a Bronze Lion for each ad in the Print category at the Cannes Advertising Festival 2007.

Ad Spot Non-Profit is the first international festival dedicated exclusively to social and public communication, to award the commitment in the research for creative solutions effectively sensitising public opinion on social issues.

The award is promoted under the high patronage of the Italian Republic President and supported by Cesvot – Voluntary Services Centre of Tuscany.
