ICL flags off multi-city promotional campaign

MUMBAI: Subhash Chandra has started promoting the Indian Cricket League (ICL) with a six-city on ground campaign. The cities include Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Players from six teams - 'Mumbai Champs', 'Delhi Jets', 'Chennai Superstars', 'Hyderabad Heroes', 'Chandigarh Lions' and 'Kolkata Tigers' - visited the respective cities and participated in a host of promotional activities.

The 'Mumbai Champs' team members shared some light moments with the cricket enthusiasts at various locations. The team included Vikram Solanki, Robin Morris, Nathan Astle, Kiran Powar, Shreyas Khanolkar,J.Van der Wath, Rakesh Patel, Avinash Yadav, Nantie Hayward, Subajit Paul,Dheeraj Jadhav, Anupam Sanklecha, Ranjit Kirid, Pushkaraj Joshi, Burkal,Raviraj Patil, Nikhil Mandale and Sridhar Iyer.

During their visit ICL had organised various on ground activities like mall promotions wherein the cricketers were invited to meet and greet their fans.The team attended cricket clinics for two days in Bhawan's College wherein cricketers offered valuable tips to the young cricketers.

ICL chairman-executive board Kapill Dev said, "All the teams are geared for the upcoming tournament and practice camps are in full swing. These activities were planned in all the six cities simultaneously for the cricket lovers to meet and interact with their favourite cricketers and share some quality time with them. We are excited to see the support of the masses to their respective teams."
