BANGALORE: VF Arvind Brands (VF) a leader in branded lifestyle apparel, today named K K Pant to serve as the company's managing director effective 21 November 2007.

According to the official release, as managing director K K Pant will have responsibility for company’s strategic direction, execution of its long-term growth plan and day-to-day operations. He will also be involved with talent development programs, customer relations and board management.

K K Pant has 20 years of experience in the branded apparel and retailing businesses in India and overseas. He has also served as managing director and CEO of Indus-League Clothing, a company that he co-founded.

Over the past decade, VF has successfully introduced and developed Leeâ and Wranglerâ brands in India. In more recent years, Nauticaâ, JanSportâ, Kiplingâ and Ridersâ brands got launched. VF’s also plans to leverage its powerful and extensive portfolio of brands such as The North Faceâ and Seven For All Mankindâ to capture new growth opportunities in expanding markets in the country.
