MUMBAI: With a view to reinforcing its Chennai operations, Mudra South has hired Shobitha Viswanathan as director, brand communications.

She has earlier contributed to brands of SmithKlineBeecham, Mico, Sara Lee, Citizen, Henkel and Wipro amongst others.

At Chennai she is tasked with managing key relationships and continuing the good work on brands like RmKV Silks, a much envied silk retail brand. She will also be assisting Vigneshwar Iyer in managing the Chennai operations of Mudra.

Mudra South executive VP and head S. Radhakrishnan said, “Shobitha comes with excellent experience and is a welcome addition to our Chennai operation. She will work with Vignesh closely. I do believe she will make a difference to our approach on the brands that she works on”.

Shobitha said, “The brands are there. The clients are there. My focus has been to facilitate good work and timely work. Already, we have done some powerful work on RmKV”.
