crowned best agency in Asia: Media 2007 report

MUMBAI:
Ogilvy & Mather (O&M) topped the Media's 2007 agency
report card, the annual overview of the industry for Asia,
for a second consecutive year, with a score of 9 out of 10.
O&M
Asia Pacific chairman Miles Young noted, "Importantly,
Media's report stated that O&M moved up a notch this year.
It recognized that although it is already a formidable force
in the region. This was due not only continued creative excellence
but also a focus on putting effectiveness on the industry agenda.
Investment in planning and thought leadership also led to unmatched
new business wins."
It was the solitary agency to receive a score against the
criteria for top creative agency: new business won and lost
in 2006, initiatives, a TNS compiled creative ranking and
the results of independent R3 Agency Image Research conducted
in China and Singapore.
O&M's
industry leadership in China was also recognized with significant
creative hires, work towards its clients, as well as key acquisitions
that expanded geographical and industry reach.
