Deutsche Telecom fields Bayern Munich soccer team for marketing campaign

MUMBAI: The Bayern Munich soccer players will be wearing shirts with the T-Home logo as from the next Bundesliga season.

The new shirt advertising will be part of the marketing campaign of the club’s main sponsor, Deutsche Telekom, to launch the T-Home brand.

T-Home establishes Deutsche Telekom as a partner for first-class home telecommunications and entertainment

When the players of Germany’s Bayern Munich take to the field for the 2007/2008 Bundesliga season, they will be wearing the "T-Home" logo on their shirts. The new shirt advertising will support Deutsche Telekom’s marketing campaign presenting the T-Home brand over the next few months. Deutsche Telekom’s T-Home gives its customers access to new, fascinating possibilities in multimedia communications.

The range of services combines the internet with television, and telecommunications with entertainment. Furthermore, the multimedia experience will be enhanced by interesting access to communities such as the fussball.de web portal.

With T-Home, Deutsche Telekom is looking to set new quality standards for first-class communication and high-quality entertainment within the home.

T-Home looks to bring the stadium atmosphere right into the living room of fans. Soccer fans can watch the games of their favourite teams and all the other matches in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga live at home on TV – in some cases in high-definition image quality.

T-Home's campaign motto is Grenzenlos Zuhause" (limitless home), which starts next month. The new range is based on attractive, all-inclusive packages combining three broadband services in one: users can not only surf the World Wide Web via a high-speed internet connection; they can also make telephone calls at favourable rates and experience top-quality, internet-based television with an enormous diversity of channels/programs.

Deutsche Telekom has been building on the national and international popularity and success of Bayern Munich since July 2002.
