RPG Cellucom targets 500 outlets by 2007-end

MUMBAI: RPG Cellucom, mobile and IT product retail chain has announced the launch of its 50th store and is targeting an expansion of 500 retail outlets by the end of 2007.

In celebration RPG Cellucom has kicked off a promotional offer that gives away a return plane travel ticket to each of its customers for purchasing a laptop or mobile phone of any brand.

RPG Cellucom CEO Sunil Bhagat said, "We are overwhelmed with the response received by our outlets. We have reached 50 stores in just a quarter. I am confident we will achieve the target of 500 stores before the desired deadline."

RPG Cellucom started their operations in January 2007 by opening their first mobile and IT product retail outlet in Gurgaon. The outlets are in both shop-in-shop and stand alone formats across Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Mumbai and Pune, informs an official release.

The outlets showcase a variety of mobile products in the communication space across brands like Nokia, Motorola, Acer, Samsung and Sony Ericssion amongst others.
