Lulla wins award for taking Bollywood overseas

MUMBAI: Eros International CEO, chairman
and co-founder Kishore Lulla has been awarded the Eastern Eye Asian Business Award
for 2007, for providing Indian cinema an international platform.
The
award was presented by Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. Now in its 11th year,
the event is internationally recognised as the most noted Asian event on the British
business calendar.
Commenting on the occasion Kishore Lulla said, "I
am proud to be a part of the rapidly growing Indian film industry and help showcase
it on a global platform."
With a 35 per cent market share in a highly fragmented sector, Eros has a film
library containing more than 1,300 titles, making it one of the largest content
owners in the business.
