Radio Mirchi celebrates Milk Day

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM will celebrate Milk Day on 1 June with with some fun activities.

The Mirchi Milk Day special programme will include a contest where listeners will have to replace every alternate word with doodh from selected film songs. RJs will descend on streets of Mumbai to hand out packets of milk and offer people their dose of milk before they get to work. A well-known dietician will talk about how listeners could incorporate milk in their daily diet.

In addition, a special gift hamper will be handed to a listener with beauty tips that include milk in it. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor will share with listeners milk based recipes for the day, followed by a contest around the famous doodh dialogue and scenes from bollywood films.

Radio Mirchi also will hold a 'Bottoms Up' Contest. The contender who manages to drink the maximum milk will get to win a stuffed toy cow along with Mirchi goodies. All through the day the station will run a series on Mirchi listeners sharing their experience about being healthy and feeling different after having their daily dose of Doodh.
