MUMBAI: Inventing novel ways to sustain the hype around HLL's online campaign to re-position its shampoo brand Sunsilk, the Gang of Girls (GOG) community based website has recently introduced a user generated content feature with GOG TV.

The website has tied up with Oscar winning film DreamGirls to kick off a contest which attracts its users to contribute their own content. With GOG TV, girls are encouraged make videos off line and download them on the site, meanwhile, to enter the contest, they need to film a video of them singing the Dreamgirls song.

By simply downloading any one (or all) of the three Dreamgirls songs and lyrics from the site - they are required to film themselves and upload the video which will be voted by the other members and the top 10 rated videos win Rs. 1000 gift voucher each. Additionally, entries uploaded till 25 March will win Rs. 100 each.

HLL category head - hair care N. Rajaram says, "The GOG TV is a sole idea for the Sunsilk Gang of Girls website as it elaborates on the concept of making friends and sharing your thoughts and opinions. Sunsilk Gang of Girls always keeps its members in high spirits with its ever constant valuable changes."

Apart from uploading their videos, the members choose from an array of categories including my stuff, news, comedy and more. It also allows them to browse and search for various videos posted by friends and family.
