Visa launches World Cup inspired TVC

MUMBAI: Visa International, the regional official sponsor and the 'preferred card' for the ICC Cricket World Cup has launced a new television commercial to be aired during the matches.

Commenting on the commercial, Visa International Asia Pacific Country Manager - South Asia Santanu Mukherjee said, "We are proud to be associated with a sporting event of this stature. The launch of the Visa Inspiring India TV Commercial voices our support for the game of cricket in our part of the world. We hope the commercial helps to symbolize our own support, passion, encouragement and inspiration to fans and to the Indian cricket team.

The commercial was conceptualized and developed by RK Swamy BBDO. The TVC starts with the Indian team of 1983 which lifted the World Cup communicating Visa's messages of inspiration, encouragement and leadership to Shankar, Ehsan and Loy.

The trio are also the TVC's music composers. Through a musical rendition, they spread the message that has a stadium full of passionate cricket fans chanting the words "Mind and Body, Heart and Soul. I've got the Power, I'm on a Roll" at the beginning of a game.
