Dentsu wins Schwabe creative & media duties

MUMBAI: Dentsu Communications has bagged the creative and media duties of homeopathy multi-national, Schwabe. The account will be handled out of its Delhi office.

"We are extremely happy to have been assigned this prestigious business," says Dentsu Communications executive director Ruchira Raina. "It is a unique category and we are looking forward to creating some great work for Schwabe".

"This is for the first time in the world that a homoeopathic company has entered into the OTC segment and we are happy to have Dentsu Communications as an integral part of this path-breaking strategy. Out of the six agencies that pitched for the account, we found Dentsu's umbrella branding strategy to be the most effective, innovative and flexible," says Schwabe head marketing Bharat Bhardwaj.

Dentsu Communications, Delhi VP Harish Arora said, "This is a category centered on trust. Homeopathy is not new to Indians but there has never been any formal communication to consumers. We therefore have the role of a pioneer-leader to play in the Schwabe communication."
