MUMBAI: As the 48th annual International Clio Awards draws closer, the members of the jury for the Design category have been announced.

The jury will be responsible for evaluating award entries encompassing all aspects of brand identity, from brochures to corporate identities, package design to self-promotion and environmental design, informs an official release.

The Design jury for Clio this year is as follows:

- Peet Pinaar (jury chairman), creative director, Daddy Buy Me a Pony, Cape Town, South Africa
- Bobby C. Martin, Jr., design director, Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York, NY, USA
- Ji Lee, art director, Droga5, New York, NY, USA
- Emma Presler, senior designer, New Media Group, ESPN, Inc., New York, NY, USA
- David Israel, executive creative director, Desgrippse Gobé, New York, NY, USA

"Design is one of the most challenging Clio categories because the winning work must find ways to effectively convey a brand concept across a variety of media platforms," said Tony Gulisano, managing director, Clio Awards.

"The diverse background and experience of our prominent Design jury members reflects the entire design spectrum, and this makes them ideally suited to judge creative excellence in the category."

The awards will be presented at the Clio Festival, which recognizes excellence in advertising and design, will be held from 9-13 May at Miami Beach, Florida.
