Veet celebrates Women's Day with launch of Indian website

MUMBAI: In celebration of Women's Day, Veet hair removal cream, has decided to follow the online route with the launch of an Indian website - www.veet.co.in, to give women complete information on the product with step-by-step demos of how to use the cream, along with information on its latest promotion "Veet Lagao Bollywood Jao".

On the occasion dedicated to women viewers can also send greetings to dear ones, through "Veet- Women's Day" e-card, made especially for this occasion. The content of the Veet website promises to be informative and consumer-friendly.

On the launch of the website, Reckitt Benckiser India Ltd regional marketing director Stefan Gaa, said, "Veet is very popular with young women and this new website promises to give them a chance to know more about the product, in an interactive format."

In conjunction with its latest campaign, Veet`s new commercial can be seen on the website along with a chance to download Bollywood actress and brand ambassador Katrina Kaif wallpapers. Around the world Veet is endorsed by other supermodels as well, informs an official release.

The contest 'Veet Lagao Bollywood Jao' gives consumers the opportunity to act in a Bollywood film by an SMS of the 6 digit code on the leaflet inside the promotional pack to 8558. Ten participants will be short-listed for a screen test by an independent panel of judges on the basis of the entries following which the winner will get to make a guest appearance in a bollywood film.
