MUMBAI: Promax/BDA announced the addition of two major speakers for its annual North American conference. Cult film writer/director John Waters and fashion designer Kenneth Cole join previously announced keynote speaker, former president Bill Clinton, at this year's June event.

"At every Promax/BDA Conference, we look to secure speakers who will both inform and motivate our members with their valuable experiences and insights," said Promax/BDA Interim Managing Director Lee Hunt in making the announcement. "Both of these individuals bring incredibly unique backgrounds and a world of creative knowledge to this year's conference."

Known for his signature brand of irreverent humor and wit, John Waters, "philosopher of filth" as he is oft known will kick off the Promax/BDA Conference with a specially targeted rendition of "This Filthy World." Sharing insights into the creative process behind outrageous films such as Polyester, Serial Mom and the original version of Hairspray, Waters will discuss how he finds inspiration in the unlikeliest of places.

Fashion designer Kenneth Cole knows what it takes to establish a solid brand. In his Promax/BDA address, Cole will give advice to attendees on how they can reach their desired core audience by establishing an indelible brand identity.

Promax/BDA will hold its 52nd annual North American conference from 12- 14 June at the Hilton New York.

Additional speakers for this year's event, as well as the full 2007 Promax/BDA North American Conference agenda, will be announced in the coming weeks. Promax/BDA is a global, non-profit association dedicated to advancing the role and effectiveness of promotion, marketing and broadcast design professionals in the electronic media.
