Nokia Nseries launches music album; unveils DJ Mixer

MUMBAI: Nokia Nseries, the multimedia sub-brand of Nokia, has launched a music album in conjunction with Universal Music and unveiled its new device called DJ Mixer in a bid to extend its musical experience to the consumers.

The music album comprises three winning compositions created by the winners of Nfusion, an initiative launched by Nokia in February.

The winners of Nfusion, DJ Ash, DJ Reme and DJ Manoj selected by a jury assembled by Fashion Television, will also get a chance to perform live with the professional DJs in pubs across many cities in the country. Apart from this, the album includes six exclusive tracks created by DJ Nasha, DJ Whosane and DJ Kris.

Launching the music album Universal Music group MD Rajat Kakkar said, "We believe through 'Nfusion', we have been successful in changing the way average music enthusiasts perceive the art of DJ-ing. Our new album is aimed at encouraging new music talent and with the new DJ Mixer application launched by Nokia Nseries every other enthusiast will be able to become a DJ on the move."

The newly launched DJ Mixer allows users of Nokia Nseries Music edition devices to remix sounds and convert them into sound clips. To download the application on their Nokia Nseries Music edition devices, N70 Music Edition, Nokia N73 Music Edition and Nokia N91 Music Edition mobile users have to SMS 'Nseries DJ Mixer' to 5555. The existing users can download the application from www.nokia.co.in/nseries.

Nokia India regional general manager west V Ramnath said, "Music is a core proposition for Nokia Nseries and the DJ Mixer application will give a whole new meaning to music on the go. Users can even record sounds of their choice to make their own music by remixing them instantly."
