Leo Burnett & Ambience Publicis bag silver for radio at Cannes

MUMBAI: The 54th Cannes Lion International Advertising festival has announced the winners for three categories Media, Radio and Outdoor Lions. Although no Indian agencies made won metals in media and outdoor, two Indian companies Leo Burnett and Ambience Publicis won a silver each in the Radio category.

Leo Burnett was awarded for its work on the anti-female foeticide campaign for Cehat. While Ambience Publicis took home a metal for Bullzi, a recruitment consultant.

The Radio category had five Indian entries shortlisted of which two were from O&M along and one from Mudra Communication.

Despite three nominations for O&M and one each from Rediffusion DY&R Bangalore/Outdoor Advertising Professionals Bangalore, JWT Mumbai, Leo Burnett Mumbai and Madison Communication in the Media Lions category and 14 nominations for Outdoor. no Indian agencies feature among the winners.
