MUMBAI: Mundu Radio, owned by Geodesic Information Systems Ltd, has bagged the 'CNET Webware 100' award for the mobile category. These awards recognise the best web 2.0 products and applications.

The final 100 winners in 10 categories are picked up by users. The editors of Webware.com, a CNET site, selected finalists from 5000 entries through an online poll.

Mundu Radio provides access to thousands of digital internet radio stations on internet-connected mobile phones. Users can easily navigate their favourite stations and genres using customisable play lists and profiles.

"We knew that we had a good product because our users told us so. Winning this award in the company of high caliber nominees such as Google and Yahoo proves it," said Geodesic Information Systems Ltd senior vice-president products and strategy Atul Chitnis.
