Ganguly awards Puma Radio City contest winner

BANGALORE: Puma India today announced the winner of the Puma contest that was aired on Radio City 91.1 FM Bangalore for a week.

Indian cricketer and ex-captain and brand ambassador for Puma India, Sourav Ganguly, handed over a gift voucher worth Rs 10,000 to software engineer Ankur Tripathi.

A contest question was asked daily on Radio City Bangalore and 30 early respondents received Puma shoes and Puma T-shirts. Tripathi was declared 'mega winner'.

Puma has two stores and two factory outlets in Bangalore. In all Puma has about 10-12 outlets in India, the major chunk of five in New Delhi and the rest in Pune, Chennai.

According to company officials, 15 Puma franchisee stores will be opened up in India across various cities by the end of 2007.
