MUMBAI: Radio City 91.1 FM has launched a 40-sec TVC, Baal Baal, to promote the station's logo Whatte Fun.

The TVC, created by Rensil D'Silva and Anup Chitnis of Meridian, is shot in Film city. The production of the TVC has been done under Abhinay Deo of Ramesh Deo Productions.

The TV commercial film opens on a fugitive bald goon who enters a barbershop, sweating profusely. The barber in the shop who is sweeping the hair off the floor, looks at him stunned. The bald goon heads to the chair and takes two hair strands that are fallen on the table, puts some spit on his baldpate and places the two hair on his head.

No sooner he does that, the cops enter the barber's shop. They begin looking around the shop for their man. They spot a bald man sitting on a chair and go straight to him. He removes a police file photograph of the bald goon and checks it with the bald man in front of him. The inspector tries hard to see if he is really the fugitive bald goon they were searching for. Meanwhile, radio is playing at the background.

The cop notices that the bald man in front of him has two more strands than the person in the photograph. The cop goes away patting the bald man thinking he is not the fugitive. The bald goon sighs a relief.

The TVC says " "Tune in to Fun ki nayi bhasha, Radio City, Whatte Fun."

The TVC is currently aired on general entertainment (Star Plus, Zee TV, Sony TV, SAB, Star One), news channels (NDTV, CNN-IBN, Zee News) and music channels (ETC, Zee Music, Channel V, MTV).
