Reviewing
the performance of the association since its inauguration
in March 2005, Rajan said, "Though the association is
only two years old, we have made tremendous strides in increasing
the awareness about rural marketing and what needs to be done
by the corporates to get a bigger pie of the fast growing
markets in rural India.
"The
rural ICT seminar, the third in the industry focused seminar
conducted by RMAAI in association with Nasscom foundation
has proved to be a tremendous success judging by the new ideas
generated and the active interaction between the speakers
and the audience."
