MUMBAI: Microsoft has announced that it has selected Reprise Media, a provider of search engine marketing solutions, to manage its search marketing efforts.

Reprise Media will be responsible for developing and executing search campaigns across various Microsoft business units.

"It was vitally important that we bring a search partner to the table that could not only support the scale of Microsoft's business, but could easily integrate into our existing relationship as well," said McCann WorldGroup president Matt Rose. "Reprise Media has made the transition very easy, and has added deep insight. We're glad that they've joined us under the Interpublic banner."

Reprise Media was recently acquired by Interpublic, whose McCann WorldGroup unit acts as Microsoft's global agency of record. The two companies will work together closely to build an integrated, cross-channel search strategy for Microsoft, states an official press release.

"In Reprise Media, we are confident that we have found a partner that really understands Microsoft, can enable the integration of search into the broader media mix and will provide strategic guidance on the search channel at an enterprise level," said Microsoft global media director David Grubb.
