Grey, McCann and O&M win for press at Cannes

MUMBAI: The 54th Cannes International Advertising Festival has announced the winners in the Press and the Cyber Lion categories.

India grabbed four metals in press with Grey Worldwide scoring a silver while McCann pocketed two bronze metals followed by O&M with one bronze.

Grey Worldwide was awarded silver for the Heena campaign for the Travel Corporation of India.

McCann's double bronze in the press category came for its work done for clients Kandsai Nerolac Paints and Coco's Café. While O&M won for the Indian Association for Promotion of Adoption and Child Welfare campaign.

Apart from the two winners McCann was backed by another five nominations in the press category, while the other Indian agencies JWT Mumbai and Grey Worldwide Mumbai had four and two nominations respectively.

Apart from this, the shortlists for the film category were also announced in which India has been named for five.

These include two nominations for the much talked about McCann Erickson TVC for Happy Dent.

JWT Mumbai and Leo Burnett have one each for Nike and Bajaj Fans respectively. The other entry is from the production house Code Red Films for the Eye Bank Association of India.

The results of the Films Lions will be announced on 23 June.
