has announced the launch of Assal Marathi (696), a Marathi Voice portal for its
mobile users in Maharshtra and Goa. Airtel Assal Marathi (696) offers an array
of infotainment content through movies, music, sports, news and astrology.
The
service can be availed by dialing 696. Users can hear complete songs sung by singers
namely Lokgeet, Bhavgeet, Koligeet, Lavnyanchya and also download ringtones of
popular Marathi songs as well. Moreover, users can hear devotional songs and dedicate
it to their loved ones.
On the occasion
of the launch of this service Bharti Airtel Limited Maharashtra and Goa circle
COO Mandeep Bhatia said, "At Airtel we have always believed in innovation

national as well as regional news, peep into the future, and hear filmi dialogues.
The charge for accessing Assal Marathi on 696 would be Rs6 per minute.
