Devraj Sanyal appointed as PDM India CEO

MUMBAI: Devraj Sanyal has been appointed as PDM India CEO. He will run all PDM India businesses with a focus on integrating the various group businesses such as mainstream advertising, content, talent, PR and out-of-home.

Sanyal was the chief operating officer of PDM since he joined in January 2004 and replaces Preeta Singh, former CEO who exited the company last month.

Percept Holdings joint MD Shailendra Singh said, "Devraj has the experience and has had the exposure in the field of experiential marketing and we are confident that PDM will grow even further under his able leadership."

Sanyal has been in the ideas and concept businesses, helping build brands in the non-conventional media space for the past 14 years.

Sanyal said, "I look forward to taking PDM to the next level in the coming years and establishing it not just as India’s best but a global name in the field of experiential marketing."

He has handled local brands such as Airtel, Hero Honda, Sahara, Tatas, Dabur, Maruti, GM, Titan, Hutch and international brands like Elle, Citibank, HSBC, Phillips, LG. He has an alternate career interest as the vocalist of Indian rock Band 'Brahma' and is currently a Sony Music Asia artist.
