MUMBAi: Big 93.5 FM Kolkata will celebrate the monsoons with 'Chorui Bhati,' a campaign that will organise picnics at different parts of Kolkata.

As a part of the celebration, Big FM will distribute hilsa fish at the doorstep of winners of the breakfast show Big Chumuk everyday. RJ Kaushik will deliver the fish and also take part in the monsoon picnics at selected localities.

Big FM station head Bodhayan Roychoudhury said "Khichuri (specially cooked rice) and hilsa fish are synonymous with rainy days in Bengal, especially in monsoon season. The euphoric days of the monsoon picnics have slowly faded away from our memories. So, Big FM has taken an initiative to bring back the flavour of monsoon in the lives of Kolkatians in right spirit with monsoon picnics in different localities. We have taken this initiative with an aim to relive those nostalgic childhood days".
