MUMBAI: TBWA\India has appointed Anirban Sen as its vice president-creative for the Delhi branch. The position has been newly created.

Commenting on his appointment TBWA\India chairman and MD George John said, "We have been on an accelerated growth curve in Delhi just as we have been in the rest of country in the last year and a half. A significant part of this growth can be contributed to the effective use of our philosophy of Disruption in our existing brands as well as the infusion of fresh talent into an already sound team. Sen will be a very important member in further fueling the agency’s growth."

Sen moves from McCann Erickson, Delhi where he headed the creative team as vice president. He has worked on brands such as Happy Dent, Coca Cola, Nescafe, General Motors amongst others.

"One of our key focus areas has been raising the bar on the creative front. This has resulted in effectiveness for our clients as well as success for the agency at award shows. We see Anirban as a significant catalyst in this process. His mandate would be to lead a strong pool of creative talent in Delhi to ensure strategy born out of disruption results in equally disruptive creative ideas," he added.
