HUL unveils Lifebuoy SkinGuard

MUMBAI: Lifebuoy, Hindustan Unilever Limited's (HUL's) largest selling soap brand, has launched Lifebuoy SkinGuard, a soap which claims to offer superior protection or fortification from germs.

The new product has been priced at Rs 15 for 75 gm.

Marketing manager (personal wash) Punit Misra says, "Lifebuoy, through the launch, is addressing a growing segment of consumers seeking higher order benefits from health soaps like superior protection from germs.

"We have worked with dermatologists to develop Lifebuoy Skinguard that is enriched with Vitamin E and higher Glycerin content, to protect skin against germs, without causing any dryness."

Lifebuoy SkinGuard, whose tagline is 'ab kitanuon ke liye saare raaste bandh!' deep cleanses and fortifies skin with Vitamin E giving superior protection from germs, states an official release.

Launched in 1895 , Lifebuoy, for over 100 years has been synonymous with health and hygiene. Lifebuoy's vision is "Making a billion Indians feel safe and secure by meeting all their health and hygiene needs."
