MUMBAI: PVR Cinema has kicked off a five month marketing effort with Visa International. As part of this activity, the multiplex will offering one free ticket to Visa Platinum and Signature cardholders, who book a cinema ticket online on PVR's website.

This offer is redeemable everyday till 31 December for all movie showtimes at PVR cinemas located across the country. PVR currently has 68 screens in Aurangabad, Bangalore, Baroda, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Latur, Lucknow and Mumbai.

Speaking on the launch of the programme, Visa International Asia Pacific country manager South Asia Santanu Mukherjee said, "The movies being an intrinsic part of our lifestyle in India, we believe that the excellent cinematic experience provided by PVR Cinemas blends perfectly with the exclusive benefits with which we endeavor to provide our premium cardholders.

"We trust that our premium cardholders will enjoy being able to treat their family and friends at their next outing to the cinema."

The programme will be promoted through advertisements across publications, through Visa's member banks and at all PVR Cinemas, as well as the website.
