Radio Mirchi joins hands with MCD for 'July Mein Dhulai'

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM Delhi in association with Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has launched a cleanliness campaign 'July Mein Dhulai'.

The week long campaign has been supported by Delhi's Mayor Aarti Mehra and MCD chairman of the standing committee Vijendra Gupta.

With 'Dilli Ki Safai' which is part of the above campaign, has moved onto the streets and is urging Delhiites to raise their voices. This will be an appeal to clean certain areas of the city like their colonies, shopping complexes or place of work.

Four places in Delhi will be shortlisted by 30 July, depending on the numer of votes received for each location. The selected regions will be cleaned and fumigated on 31 July by MCD and Radio Mirchi.

Radio Mirchi cluster head Kanwarbir Singh said, "Radio Mirchi being a city centric radio station has always been a step forward in finding solutions to problems prevalent in the city. With 'July mein Dhulai', we want to drive home the importance of living in a clean, sanitised environment, so that Delhiites are able to enjoy the monsoons sans the dirt which comes with the season."
