Kinetic SYM launches TVC with Bipasha Basu for its new scooter Flyte

MUMBAI: Kinetic SYM unveiled its promotional campaign with Bipasha Basu for its new scooter Flyte, which targets modern Indian women.

This is the first launch from the collaboration between scooter manufacturer Kinetic Motor and Taiwan's $1.1 billion automotive giant SYM.

The campaign was launched in the presence of Kinetic brand ambassador Bipasha Basu and Kinetic Motor Company MD Sulajja Firodia Motwani.

Kinetic plans to market the Flyte to women who are the fastest growing buyer segment in two wheelers today.

To appeal to this segment, Kinetic also unveiled a TV commercial (TVC) that features Bipasha Basu as today's confident and independent woman achiever. Ambience Publicis has designed the new TVC which will start airing from today.

The campaign will use several platforms including television commercials, print media, Internet, outdoor hoardings, contests and a special demonstrative audio-visual that will be played in all Kinetic dealerships, says a release.

The Kinetic calendar 2008, featuring Bipasha Basu and the Flyte, was also unveiled.

At a press conference, Motwani said,"Our research indicated that today's smart and confident young women are impressive, and I think they will find the Flyte to be their perfect companion on their path to achievement "

Flyte brings several first-time features such as: easy front-fuelling, central locking, anti-theft magnetic key, mobile phone charging, crash resistant mirrors and huge, lighted storage.

The 125cc Flyte is priced at Rs 36,837 and is available in five colours.
