Percept`s Allied Media forms alliance with Mercantile Advertising

MUMBAI: Percept's Allied Media has entered into a strategic alliance with Mercantile Advertising to handle the media planning and buying for all their clients.

Allied Media is a specialist media planning and buying arm of Percept Holdings. Allied Media will offer Mercantile Advertising the entire media service, which would encompass strategic planning, media buying and implementation.

Said Mercantile Advertising brand planning director Rasesh Shah, "...we are aggressively pitching for clients in categories that range from hair care, aviation to sport.

Some of the significant accounts Mercantile has bagged in the last six months include Indian Oil (Corporate - Delhi), KVIC and the very prestigious Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010.

Said Shripad Kulkarni, COO, Allied Media Integrated Communications, "We have worked out a unique model of working with agencies, what with four independent, competing agencies in the group itself, we handle. Mercantile, under the new gen leadership has chalked out ambitious plans. We will support and partner them in their foray."
