MUMBAI: The 49th annual Clio Awards honouring creative excellence in advertising and design have announced the first group of industry people who will serve as executive jury chairs to head its seven awards categories for 2008.

Heading content and contact is Johnny Vulkan who is a partner at Anomaly. Saatchi and Saatchi chief creative officer Tony Granger will look after Television/Cinema/Digital categories. The Print/Poster/Innovative/Integrated categopries will be handled by Jeremy Craigen, who is DDB executive creative director.

Clio Awards MD Tony Gulisano says, "These individuals collectively represent the power of the idea. They are an excellent fit for the role because they're totally plugged in to the new dynamics of the marketplace, and proactively playing a part in moving the industry forward with their own work. Because of their fresh thinking and personal experience, they're challenging the expected and generating great creative across all media."
